Windy, warm Monday for Western Washington

SEATTLE ? Western Washington got a brief respite from the rain Sunday and we?ll see warmer temperatures on Monday before a warm front moves in.

Late Sunday night, a warm front will brush through, bringing a few showers, but behind that front will be very windy conditions, said KING forecaster Lisa Van Cise. Get the Futurecast

?Also behind that front will be some pretty warm air,? said Van Cise.

The Puget Sound area and northwest and southwest interior will see the upper 50s Monday.

The winds will also pick up, with gusts between 50 and 60 mph along the coast and northwest interior and gusts between 35 and 45 mph in the Puget Sound area. ?It will be very windy and a little blustery but we?ll also see a little sunshine,? said Van Cise.

A cold front will slowly push through the region Monday night and Tuesday for very wet weather as it nearly stalls over the Olympic Peninsula.
